Canada’s Ultimate Paleo Wonderland
Its been a very busy Christmas for me, moving from Toronto to the city of Vaughan, right in the neighbourhood of Canada’s Wonderland! I have finally finished renovating my kitchen, which I’ll post pictures later. It’s not a large kitchen, but definitely more counter space and more functional than when bought. It was a pain in the butt using the sink in the laundry room as we waited for the installation of our granite counter tops.
[pullquote]PaleoMagazine produced the Paleo Magazine Readers’ Favourites Cookbook, a collection of over 50+ of the most popular mouth-watering, full-colour photo spread recipes[/pullquote]Needles to say, I have had many frequent visitors to my sight, of which the posts that received the multi-milenia of views last year were:
- Ontario’s Grass-Fed Beef
- Bacon Wrapped Butternut Skewers
- Primal Beef Stew in Cabernet Sauce
- Ultimate Paleo Pad Thai (more on this one below)
- Ultimate Paleo Meatloaf
Last year Paleo Magazine produced the Paleo Magazine Readers’ Favourites Cookbook, a collection of over 50+ of the most popular mouth-watering, full-colour photo spread recipes from past issues of Paleo Magazine, along with some reader submissions. With recipes such as Pumpkin Scramble, Spiced Maple Pecans, Bison Sliders, Scotch Eggs, Cranberry Orange Macadamia Scones, Grilled Skirt Steak, Nut-Free Granola, and Pumpkin Cakes with Pecan Praline, there are plenty of options to get readers excited about getting into the kitchen.
Even more than the recipes, what makes this book so special are the stories. By incorporating narratives and photos from readers, the Paleo Magazine Readers’ Favorites Cookbook strives to bring a sense of fellowship to the Paleo community, and with it, a vivid appreciation for the enormous variety of colors, textures, and flavors of the real food available to us as well as give a hat tip to the diverse individuals who make up this amazingly supportive community.
