I’m not hear to change minds. A blood type diet makes scientific sense to me. What you believe is what you believe, and you will continue to eat as fits those beliefs. I provide information and you do with it what you will.
I’m an omnivore who eats organic food. So I will seek out the best provisioners of beef, pork and fowl that I can find in the Woodstock area. Thanks for helping to reduce the eco footprint for all.

We even partake in the odd raw and/or vegan restaurant from time to time for vegetable ideas. That said, I’m not a believer of the ‘Eat Right 4 Your Type’ diet and I will continue to eat grass-fed beef, naturally raised pork, wild fish and free-range fowl (all hormone and anti-biotic free). Thus knowing that they have less of a footprint on the eco-system unlike the unhealthy alternatives.

Granted we’ll need a few essential ‘aminos’ to complete the dietary picture, but our daily protein requirements are lower. Thus A type vegetarians put less strain on scarce water resources, because animals are inefficient when it comes to water use and caloric input required to bring them to market. Plus the methane gases and clear-cutting are very damaging.

Having said the above, from time to time I enjoy organic veggies along with a grass fed burger smothered in sauerkraut and dijon 🙂 If only I could skip the bun 🙁

The blood type diet “works” because it eliminates processed food regardless of blood type, removes wheat from the diets of people with blood types A, B, and O (which takes care of the vast majority of the population of the world), and recommends that most people (type O is the most common blood type) eat a diet based on meat and plants with little to no grains, beans, sugar, and legumes. I’m honestly not all surprised that so many people get great results.

Now that our specie has ‘jumped the shark’, and developed 3 new blood types, we’ve got greater dietary flexibility: A, B and A/B. Since these blood types are ‘baked into our cake’, we can now expand a tad further into the world of legumes and grains. Read: Eat Right 4 Your Type. And then run out and find out which one is yours.
Brian 🙂

I know the workout seems pretty tedious but i think i’m going to try both and let you know my progress and journey to becoming healthy and lean. I will experiment on my family and let you know what happens !
